If you think about it, your version of the story makes AEW just as bad but in a different way. Here are the options:
1) AEW has a bad sloppy production team. Bryan Danielson had his leg fall through the crack (lmfao again) in between the ring and the ramp, he's smart, sells it, when the referee gets to him, he quickly explains what's happening, the referee gets clued in and starts clueing others, including the cameraman, on it
2) This was always planned to be a work. Bryan was always gonna get his leg stuck. Yet Bryan still visibly grabs the referee to tell him something and the referee still needs to tell the camera man to zoom in on it where everyone can hear it.
