Actually kinda I was a fat shitter sitting at 260 then I got back into wrestling and was like damn I could look kind of closer to that and now about 3 years later I’m sitting at 180 with decent muscle mass, still wouldn’t make it in the fed tho

I started working out as a teen because I wanted to look like GSP, wrestling body builder physique was never that appealing to me, I remember seeing how awful Batista looked in his giant clothes.
I started lifting and doing calisthenics. I do like to do old school wrestling strong man exercises, I have weighted clubs that I swing.

My brother and sister made fun of me for believing that John Cena was natty when I was 11 so I told them I was going to prove them wrong by getting a similar physique naturally. 10 years later and I am just below Cena level physique and brought it up last Thanksgiving and my brother and sister actually apologized to me. I'm on gear btw but I've fooled them into thinking I'm not by being extremely honest and never lying about anything ever except for being on roids lmao.

I’m kind of after this sort of physique myself. Just something that looks more natural than having a six-pack (and the trouble of maintaining it) and looking more bulky and natural. The iron sheikh reportedly has great core strength (which is probably why he’s lived so long)

No I think the fattest I ever got was around the time I got back into watching wrestling 10 years ago. I got fit because a job I had a few years later involved a lot of heavy lifting and I figured lifting weights would help. I enjoyed it and saw the results of it and now I'm the best I've ever felt or look in my entire life.

It's partially genetics, partially core lifting from carrying crates or people, and eating tonnes of fatty meat.
You're not gonna get that look at 12% body fat. Closer to 25% more like.

I was an indie shitter in my 20's-early 30's. When I was 25 I fucked my knee up badly and needed 2 surgeries for it to heal. When I was finally able I joined a gym for the first time and got super dedicated I lost 60 lbs in about 9 months. Maintained it for a few years, got more bookings and a couple tryouts with ROH but nothing came from it. Eventually I lost my desire after I hit 30 and slowly gained the weight back until I quit wrestling a few years ago before the pandemic. Now I'm 38 and back to where I was when I started and all the old injuries are catching up so every time I try to work out again I just hurt myself.

Just stay fat bros, this semen slurping sport ain't worth the trouble.

I lost a much of weight freshman year of college (50lb) got down to 160, then got dumped by my ex last summer, decided to start lifting bc she told me I was too skinny, now I’m 185 a year later at ab 6’1. Trying to bulk up to 200 and try out for OVW since I go to school near there. Imma lean out after I hit 200 and then prolly bulk back up to 210-220.

I tried. Used to lift every single day, I never got 'fit' but I was strong but I still looked like Otis despite wanting to look like fucking Orton, but I was young and stupid and didn't realize how crazy Orton's body was and how much shit wrestlers truly put into their body to maintain their body. No progress combined with being called fat all the time and I just gave up and now I look more like Dusty Rhodes. I want to do better but I just feel lost when I try. I did keto for 6 months a few years back and lost 50 pounds but it fucked up my body and i was miserable. I'm all for trying to get back into a routine but I don't have weights and the closest gym is an hour away. I fucking hate cardio so I'm not just going on walks.
