>>5770636It's because even while not being the tag champs, the main tag feud is STILL built around the Young Bucks vs ReDragon, except both are in the same faction and are still not actually feuding. FTR are getting more shine as ROH Champions than Jurassic Express are as AEW Champions currently.
And when the Bucks actually WERE the champs, they were to Omega what the Usos are to Reigns: Sidekicks who are more invested in their bosses feuds than their own, making the belts feel like an extra accessory for the World Champ.
Even now, the tag title feud JE feels like an afterthought as it's more about Keith & Swerve Vs Team Taz
Looking at the rest of the tag division, the talent is there but there's a lack of direction:
>Santana & Ortiz can't escape the Jericho feud cycle>2.0 and the BCC are now stuck in it too>The Acclaimed and Top Flight are both being held back by a tag partner being made of glass. At this point, just pair Caster and Dante together so they can actually go somewhere>Best Friends have sort of kind of split off to Chuck & OC (who have been lost in the shuffle) and Roppongi Vice>Men of the Year care only about a singles title>Stu got sick of waiting and has left, because Dark Order as a whole exists just to get beaten up by heels on their way to Hangman>House of Black vs Death Triangle just doesn't seem to end, nor does it seem to start>Bears/Chaos Project/Wingmen are just jobbers>as are Butcher & Blade, Private Party, and Angelico; but also are stuck in a bizarre faction who do nothing>other teams like the Blondes and Gunns are still too green to build a division around>you forgot the Nightmare Factory & Nightmare Family existed until reading this
