Psychiatrists are typically autists that spend all of their time reading/studying the human experience and human behavior to the point where they don't actually engage with people normally themselves. So, they're often horribly fucked up mentally and way worse at their jobs than normal licensed therapists who actually interact with people more.
Psychiatrists are kind of like the virgins on /r9k/ "studying" women. The remove at which they place themselves for the sake of professionalism basically self-sabotages their entire field.
