There's really not much of a difference between the wrestling styles of AJPW and NJPW. Go watch Muto vs. Chono from the early 90s and then go watch a Misawa vs. Kobashi match from the early 90s. They're very similar. Maybe NJPW does a bit more chain wrestling and a bit less high impact moves, but the styles are very similar, very sports-based presentation. It's always been kind of funny to me how much people sperg out about such minor differences.
