I really like the show. It is completely different from any other wrestling show. It has a lot of Hogan/Bret era WWF vibes. It has a bunch of new talent who aren't stale and overexposed. They have tons of gimmicks and they do a lot of outside of the ring segments which you just don't see as much in other promotions. The show is also doing a good job at getting people ready for WWE, though they need to be running more to get these guys improving faster.
It's not perfect. I get that people don't want to see a developmental show and may not want to see green and inexperienced wrestlers. However, the people whose main complaint revolves around that also didn't to watch the last version of NXT that was tailor made for them and also refuse to watch NXT UK, despite it also being tailor made for them. So I don't know what NXT was supposed to do when they gave smarks exactly what they wanted yet they wouldn't watch.
