>>5791176They know Tony is fucking up but they're helpless, there's nothing they can to do turn it around. They'll post 100 articles about how AEW revenue/ratings are up 40% over the last 2-3 years, but won't say anything about how the expenses/salaries are probably up 400% over the same time frame. It's not sustainable.
If your strategy is to get as much wrestling and as little promos/arguments/etc as possible, to make programming more suitable for foreigners/translation/syndication, then it sort of makes sense. But it's hard enough to charge other countries for Roman, Cena, Randy Orton, Miz, and other Wrestlemania Main Eventers and Hollywood Stars. You think AEW pushing Jungle Boy and Daddy Cool and Fat Keith is getting anything other than a 3am time slot in Singapore, South Africa or Italy? It's not.
If AEW was making 1/5th as much as these AEWtists thought it was, they'd be doing two shows per week: one live Dynamite, and a Rampage taping the next day. The fact they have to jam everything all into one 5-6 hour taping shows they just aren't making enough money, can't sell the tickets, and likely have a lot of top talent signed to per appearance deals.
PAC has wrestled one (1) time since March 9th. Since wrestling CM Punk on March 14th, Penta has wrestled 1 match. He's on the PPV this Sunday though. Will definitely be must-see! Very much build! So excitement!
But the moment you say anything about it and try to get a convo going, the basement dwellers and faggots among us just call you a drone, "TLDR", and everything else in the book. I'm half-convinced Vince is paying them to derail "How to Fix AEW" discussion just to ensure it fails and there's no consensus feedback for Tony to ever consider.
