She won the ROH Women's Title on May 4th, 3 full weeks ago. Has she been on TV a single time since then? A promo? Anything at all? - Joe is the ROH TV Champ and gets to be in the Owen tournament. Why was Martinez not included but shitter nobodies like Red Velvet and Ruby Soho were? They've never won anything.
I'm not sticking up for Women's wrestling here, I'm just attacking AEW in general. The shit doesn't make any sense. There's too many titles and the programming is disjointed. They're supposed to be doing the go-home show for the PPV and we get:
7 mins for Mox/Kingston to smash 2 jobbers. ***WHY?***
10 mins FTR vs jobbers, FTR AIN'T EVEN ON THE FUCKING PPV IN **4 DAYS**
9 min Swerve/JB/Starks that should have been about 5 minutes
9 min Storm/DMD match with little build, no heat and a cheap finish
12:30 Joe/KOR match, just let Joe squash KOR and get it over with
7 min Wardlow/Spears actually told a story and makes you want to buy the PPV to see MJF comeuppance
Anna Jay hasn't had a singles match since MARCH FOURTH and somehow is getting a title shot. TK, what the fuck are you doing, dude? Such a dipshit. Get her in there with Julia Hart, have Julia get distracted when Varsity Blondes come out to "help her" and she gets distracted while trying to send them back to the locker room, Anna hits her finisher, etc.
No Death Triangle/House of Black...so they'll get 4 mins on Rampage, the show with less than half of the audience. Basically confirming they're just lower-card filler because you couldn't possibly carve out 90 seconds for each of them to make threats
People don't pay $60 for a PPV to see random wrestlers they have no connection to do flippy shit and 80s rasslin' for 15 minute matches. Who the fuck is paying 2-3-4 hours of their labor, post-tax, to see Joe vs Cole in some slow, plodding match to hoist a meaningless belt that guarantees them nothing but bragging rights and a few mentions? It's a glorified King of the Ring
