He reminds me of those gaijin who would go to NOAH and New Japan in the 2000s and do super serious wrestling in front of dead crowds because that's what they think the japanese audience wants.

As a Yuta fan and not a console war fag, I don't think he will be brought back for more tours like Austin or Zayne probably, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Yuta can use this tour as a learning experience. He's still got a whole career in front of him.

That said, the New Japan wrestlers themselves seem to be impressed with Yuta, so maybe he will be brought back who knows.

No, I know, I get that. From a results standpoint, he's doing even better than I thought. I just think he's doing some very technical stuff that is maybe a bit too babyfacey when he has shown in AEW that he can be more relentless and brutal.

The only singles match he had between joining BCC was a pure rules match against the previous champion on Dark? I'll have to check that out since I like Woods. Either way he's already had more BOSJ tournament matches than AEW matches as a member of BCC. I don't think affiliating with Mox and Danielson changed him all that much from what he was doing on the indies.

Ace Austin signed a multi year contract one month ago. I wouldn't be shocked if TNA saw in advance Ace's huge exposure getting a lot more contract eyeballs on it and that's why they safeguarded it.

That's just as bad you dumb shit. They'd have to structure the entire match around Yuta, have him kick out of pretty much every move the opponent has, do the opponent's moves back to him before finally being choked out. And even then it only works if you've got someone established as a dominant badass who normally beats everyone up easily.

A. No it's not, people flat out don't kick out of Pinche Loco unless Despy lifts them from it, Death Rider/Paradigm Shift has been kicked out of multiple times
B. There's no sensible way that the green outsider becomes the first one to kick out of that on NJPW programming. You'd have more of a case if it were on AEW for his belt (but that'd still be a retarded ask)
C. Jesus Christ do you really not think there's any other way of building up a wrestler than false finishes and bladejobs? Despy made Yuta look far better than he is AND put him over on the mic after.
