My main problem with MJF is that he’s an entertaining promo but as soon as he gets in the ring I zone out completely. So many of his big matches have been such a fucking snoozefest.

Also you have to wonder if he’s putting too much faith in WWE being as interested in him as he thinks they are. He’s a small guy, like Johnny Gargano small. He’s also been given freedom to do and say whatever he wants in AEW which obviously won’t be the case in WWE.

I do wonder what his childhood was like. With him being on tv shows as a kid and his parents being involved in his career it makes me think he had a dance mum.

AEW will not lose any fans if he were to leave, and they will not gain any fans if he stays. So he is worth nothing. Just like basically every other person on their roster. AEW signed the two biggest free agents in wrestling, and it gained them like 100k viewers for 2 weeks.

Phil is over 6', he has appeared many times in sneakers with no lifts. 5'8'' is really short, I'd say MJF is probably around 5'10 or the 'tall' side of 5'9 and gets an inch from lifts.

Hes a fantastic wrestler and his matches have been from good to great. But he wrestles like 6 times a year, so you can assume every match is extremelly rehearsed and carefully planned. In WWE he will have to do weekly rematches and get exposed, just like Cody was last week

MJF with creative freedom is certainly worth more than a PG MJF who can't be as edgy with his promos. I understand the guy wants more money and that's fair, he's one of the most popular guys in AEW, but I also understand management wanting someone to fulfill their current contract before giving him more money. I'm sure Tony wants him around and is willing to give him the contract he wants but not without locking him in long term.

If this is all a work it's a damn good one, if it's a shoot then MJF is pulling a bitch move and it sours me on him. He's a talented dude but he's not a big enough deal to just no show the night before a PPV.

He worked programs with Moxley, Cody and Wardlow. He would have no problem working with Roman or Lashley because his character always uses trickery and cheating to win anyways.

If this is a shoot and not a work then it shows that MJF'S actual character isn't that far off from Phil's. He might be even worse. Punk did what he had to do and walked out after the PPV. MJF has been in trusted with solidifying Wardlow's push after the latter spent 3 years helping build him up. Now he's planning to walk out the night before he's supposed to do the job, possibly cleanly, for the first time in order to make a star? After beating the likes of Punk, Jericho and the other 3 pillars? He's reaching Hogan levels of self mark. There's nothing particularly wrong with walking out but don't screw over the WARDOG little Jew boy. This harpers back to something Jericho said. The best characters are always you turned up to 11. MJF is a pretty good character
