He's underpaid given all that while AEW has only gotten better deals and others have leapfrogged him paywise. It's one of the only real, justified reasons to walk out over.
It isn't real sports, Tony thinks he's GM trying to get MJF to extend under league confines, but MJF knows it doesn't have to be this way.
He's right to not extend and let Tony con him out of more years on a reworked contract where he'll just be as underpaid again in a year or two but will still be locked to AEW for even longer.
