Do it where MJF is a heel and helps Cody, but Cody stays face and doesn't know wtf to do as MJF is on his side but he's not on MJF's side because MJF is a bad guy. Would be an original and kino dynamic where the heel has one dude he likes and helps.

No, it was Cody was friends with MJF and everybody saw MJF was a snake but Cody wouldn't accept it because they had always been friends then eventually MJF did turn on him. That's clearly different to MJF being a full blown heel and Cody knowing it and not being friends with MJF.
