>>5829646I've been eating the same thing all day, a (formerly) fresh loaf of bread and chicken salad.
Whether it's luxury you want or poverty you're in, you all need to get yourselves a bread machine. Don't waste money on a new or "good" one, go get the one at the thrift store.
/ck/ told me nearly every thrift store has one because people get them as gifts and then don't use them, sure enough my thrift store had one. It was actually well used by someone, and missing its fin, but you can order replacements for your model on Ebay for cheap.
So long as the non stick container isn't all scratched up by some retard prying with a metal tool, and so long as it turns on, it's probably good to go.
Altogether, best $20 I ever spent and saved me a lot of cash. If it comes with a manual it will have the recipes all there.
Smells amazing as it gets close to finishing, you can delay them so they start overnight and the bread's freshly baked in the morning, it's compact and doesn't take up much space on your counter.
The only downside is the bread isn't shelf stable and goes stale very quickly, let it cool a little on a rack, but you should wrap anything you don't immediately eat in a clean hand towel pretty quickly to keep the moisture in, but not making it soggy. It will still be stale in a day or two, so make the smaller recipe if it's just you.
Bread machine chads rise up.
