>>5842929I started watching about 6 months before Punk debuted, and I can honestly say, as mediocre as some of the wrestlers and angles on the midcard of Dynamite are, the show never had go away heat with me, and every episode had at least one story/fued to look forward to. Kenny Omega leaned into the insults his critics levelled at him in his heel champ role and really held the show together, everyone said he shouldn't be goofy as champ, but it worked for him. Cody was also guaranteed to have a banger match with some midcard guy every week. MJF is basically Rated R Miz, and as such, is extremely entertaining.
Fast forward to right now:
>The most consistent 4/5 star match guy in the company (Cody) who had a shitload of memorable matches is gone.>Tony has killed the hype of every single ex WWE guy he signed, Cody is selling out PayPerViews that Roman Reigns won't feature on, CM Punk can no longer sell out jack shit>WWE Ratings jumped to 1.3-2.0 million weekly, on Raw and Smackdown once the pandemic was over>AEW Ratings did not keep up the pace>Jericho's 20 year old Raw Angle of the week>Young Bucks FTR Part 8>I have no fucking idea who the TNT title is even on>The guy I think it might be on is probably going to get stabbed by some virgin fan soon>DoN was so boring I won't even pirate it>There are no announced matches at Hell in a Cell that sound boringTony needs a new plan. You could tell how he was yelling at the media scrum, he knows that payperview was shit.
