saving NJPW is so much more complicated than just who holds the world title. If putting the title on any one dude could have saved the company, it was Okada, and they literally just did that, and it hasn't saved the company. The problem currently is the creative team. Whoever is making decisions needs to go and we need to go back to just Gedo and his little journal booking storylines 2 years out. Bring the IC title back, bring in more ROH guys for the Jr division, do some work with NOAH, use some of their talents in big major title feuds, make smart decisions about booking decisions involving AEW, etc

literally nobody feels important. There are like 6-8 dudes who feel like they're going to be in world title contention whether they earn it or not, and the entire rest of the roster feels completely capped with their absolute ceiling being US Heavyweight, Never Openweight, or Jr Heavyweight title.
