I hate CM Phil for many reasons - many of which have already been listed here. The guy is insanely ignorant of politics and social issues, yet, like a middle-class white woman, he feels the need to inject his ill-informed opinions and loudly trumpet them.
His return to AEW has proven what a lying piece of shit he is. This fucker had every opportunity to be with the company at the start - but refused, acting like a whiny little bitch and making passive-aggressive tweets like a teenage girl.
Only after guys like Cody, Jericho, Moxley, Omega and the Bucks (plus the original OGs) proved they could hang and even beat WWE, forcing them away from Wednesday Night. After all the risks were taken, Phil comes slithering in and proceeds to destroy everything they built up.
Darby, MJF and now Hangman have all been fucked over because of him. Cody was forced out because of him. He's been a detriment to the product. He's like how Hogan was WCW, looking out only for himself. At least Hogan was a fucking draw and legit megastar, unlike Phil.
If I were to summarise everything about Phil into one word, it would be fake.
He's a fake tough guy.
He's a fake rebel.
He's a fake draw.
He's a fake altruist.
Fuck Phil Brooks. Until he is gone (along with the NXT rejects infesting AEW) I'm never watching or supporting that company again. And I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.
