Not initially, but he is definitely at least half comedic at this point. I'd say Toru Yano is basically 90%, Taguchi is 75% and SHO is 60%

I've made some people into wrestling fans in the past few years. I showed them AEW and they hated it overall. I showed them wwe and they hated it overall. I showed them AAA and they had fun. Showed them Stardom and they were kinda meh on it. SHowed them NOAH and they cringed. Showed them DDT and TJPW and they loved them. Showed them Gatoh Move and they liked it. Showed them New Japan and they liked bits and mostly Taguchi.
