>>5867117Even before the AEW vs NXT era, people were already falling out of love with NXT. NXT had established itself as never having a status quo. People were constantly called up after a year or two. Usually a year for indie talents, two for home grown talents. It also meant that the title scene was always fresh. There'd be constant new contenders. Then around 2015 it felt like NXT started getting swamped with all the hot indie talents at the time over the home grown talents, but it was fine, the rotation of call ups every year still happened, even thought it was getting monotonous to see the hottest new indie signing hot shot themselves to a title win, at least there was always new feuds and contenders. Then 2017 happened. Cole, Ciampa and Gargano. It was fine at the time as again, it was new. Then 2018, the same shit, 2019, the same shit, 2020, the same shit, most of 2021, the same shit.
