based but something was off. I love Kenny, but physically he was off, and his character was weird, too cartoony, almost like he didn't quite know what kind of heel champ he wanted to be. Hopefully he comes back with a better character and has a better run.

good character when he was chasing, but it's the type of character, once he gets the belt, the character falls flat. What is his angle, what's his drive? Never felt convincing. Tbh he probably should have dropped it much sooner, NJPW style, the way they do with young first time champs. Didn't know what to do when he got to the moutaintop, didn't have the experience to stay there.

worst of the worst, he's so sloppy and terrible in the ring, it's gonna be a horrible reign. Horrible look. Horrible Bret Hart parodies. His character was always being an insufferable self righteous prick but at least in his younger days, ROH and his peak WWE run, he made it work. I just don't see it working this time. MJF is the better version of that in AEW. He's too cringe. I marked out a little when he came back, but the first words out of his mouth after 7 years away from pro wrestling was hyping up Britt fucking Baker. Bringing SJW politics into AEW programming, him crying like a bitch when he won the belt like a woman instead of staying consistent with the character (confident veteran who got in Hangman's head and knew he would win). Not to mention how much he JUSTed his own reputation during his hiatus. He is shit on every level right now. Not only is he by far the worst of the 5, but I'm gonna bet he ends up going down as the worst AEW champ for the next 5 YEARS. It will be a long time before they put the strap on a stinker like him again.

I loved Punk and still respect him for having to balls the stand up to Gaytch, Carder and Vince's shit back in WWE, no one else ever had the balls to. I have no bias against him. But so far in AEW he's shit.
