I figure the Ace turn has been in the works around the time he was called up for BoSJ, but they should've called an audible and stretched it out. Imagine if they'd done the Zest Friends run, won SJTL, won the Jr tag titles at WK, THEN done the breakup at some point next year with Ace betraying Zayne. Would've been heartbreaking

Perfect end to that match. ELP gets the obvious pin over Henare’s bitch ass to move up to hebbyq, and we get his junior replacement in the same moment. Ace has been great all tour, and can work in Japan unlike Bey, so you ride that wave. The Zayne beatdown is based as hell too.

Awesome, I can't believe he's only 25 too. If anybody ever earned a spot with their work in a tournament, it was him. He really looked great.

I think they should repeat what they did with others like Ospreay and Shingo - put ELP in the G1, and to solidify him moving up, give him a tournament win over the NEVER champ that later translates to a title shot and victory. Then he can go from NEVER champ to US or whatever.
