Being a heel gives you free reign to try whatever you want because the people arent supposed to like you. If you know what the fuck youre doing, you pay attention to what gets cheered and bood so you can get either response on command to work in your role better.
Eventually, once youve established enough quirk to your character, the crowd cheers your formerly heel bullshit and will start to turn you.
