Two reasons.
One, Double Or Nothing was AEW's first PPV.
Wrestlemania was WWE's big PPV gamble, the one everything else was riding on.
Two: They think of Revolution as AEW's Royal Rumble, and the big show after the Rumble is Wrestlemania.
So Double Or Nothing is AEW's Wrestlemania.
