They don't want a Georgian wrestler to apply holds and drink bourbon.
The TV people want a Georgian wrestler to talk smack like an LA OG set tripper, like his skin colour implies.
But maybe more importantly, in order to hire a depressed redneck, you've got to find a depressed redneck who wants to wrestle the sanitised style of the WWE.
The ONLY big stars that were WWE-made over the last 20 years were Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. The rest got pushed out of the ass without merit, or meandered into the WWE from another promotion carrying strong upward momentum which the E promptly discharged into an early grave.
