He wasn't as good as people thought he was and his fanbase needs a way to cope after spending years saying Kenny was going to turn into the Cleaner any day now and have a KINO REDEMPTION RUN, but it never happened and he never had that run so they have to pretend he was working crippled and diseased and that despite that the matches with Hangman or whoever that nobody cares about or rewatches were the best matches ever. When he comes back he still wont be good and it'll be 'he gave his body for wrestling, let him change his style, he earned it' or some shit.
