Rather see them strap the rocket to someone new in the ME scene, Riddle or Gunther, and not have them sink back down to the midcard after one big run

Because it lasted over a year. AJ can be a good champ but between his aging, shit writers, and a small pool of challengers that title reign was doomed from the start. If AJ ever gets another title reign I'd want it to be 2-3 months at most
