He's a wrestler's wrestler, but not in the cringe way people talk about "muh technical legends" like Bret Hart or Dean Malenko. You really have to learn the craft to be able to truly appreciate his work. After learning the ropes and going back to watch his matches in WWF, TNA, WWE and AEW, I can honestly say he is one of the greats. His psychology, ring awareness, positioning, timing, execution, facials, and movements were always years ahead of his colleagues. He seems to do everything so effortlessly and naturally, making even his greenest of opponents look like a million bucks. Christian may honestly be the greatest wrestler of all time.
