Punk was one of the few things people actually bought the PPV for. The rest of the card barring one or two matches was essentially filler because Tony was so worried about competing with basketball. Apparently, according to himself, he was right to worry and his plan to delay the main event as long as possible did work with a significant amount of late buys.
