MJF doesn't belong anywhere near New Japan and hopefully this storyline is an excuse for him not to be a part of Forbidden Door. Moxley will win over Tanahashi, then MJF can go over Mox later.

I think having Tanahasi and Hangman win would be a fun way to set up Forbidden Door 2. Have the promotions swap top belts for a bit, and rally up their respective fanbases to "take back what is rightfully theirs."

Actually, its becouse it would be his ticket against punk. He swore to deliver most humiliating loss punk in his career. To mjf, that is when he takes his spot right after punk wins belt. When punk comes back, he loses his first match back to mjf. Total failure of champion.
