How did he do it?
Has anybody been able to out-politic him? There's literally hours of videos of wrestlers SEETHING at Hulkster being a master carney, whilst Hulk just no sells and never publicly buries anyone. If anything Hulk puts over people who shoot on him.

Is he the greatest worker ever? How the fuck dud he do it?

He was an ass kisser and the boss's guy. His look was a third hand copy of Billy Graham via Jesse Ventura. Unlike the other big stars of the time, he wasn't uppity or risky. He was the corporate, company guy version of the beach bodybuilder look. That's it. He was teacher's pet and therefore seen as a more reliable set of hands to put the company's fortunes in.

When it comes down to it, the difference between Hogan and a lot of other notable politickers (especially the Kliq guys) is you made more money with Hogan on the card and holding you down than you did with Hogan not on the card and you getting your deserved push.

For all the shit that people talk about Terry (and most of it 100% warranted), the fact is he made absolutely fuck tons of money. He was a gigantic draw. When you make money you get to do what you want.
