It's not happening. Young people do not want to sit in front of a TV, furthermore, cable TV has to deal with 16% of the 18-49 demo dropping each year, which has nothing to do with wresting, younger people just aren't interested in paying for cable.
It's going to continue to drop and by 2025 you're going to see even RAW (which did as a low as 0.38 this year) do 0.25's.
This will of course completely change if Nielsen starts using streaming data. As for now, it only collects the data from the main TV in the household, so if little jimmy is upstairs watching wrestling and dad is downstars watching Tucker Carlson, little jimmys view isn't counted. It's a stupid system, one we put too much time and effort crying about.
