I've just been of the opinion that the body is built to take in what it needs. If I eat a good meal and feel full, then that well enough. If I need to take in more nutrients than what good full meals provide, then something is fucked up with my metabolism and I should probably see a doctor.

I just eat what I want (within reason) throwing odd fast in there.
Nearly 80lbs down in 8 months. Starting weight 339, CW 260. Looking to get to about 210 since I'm 6'3" I lift weights, hike and run.
That's about it really. Still hang out having a drink or eating with friends. I have no particular wrestler body in mind, as long as I'm not a fat dude anymore.

Anyways. To get ripped do whey shakes only plus maybe stuff like veggies for a few weeks.
Work shoulders using lateral raises machine and reverse fly machine.
Remember to work back to balance out pressing strength.

This plus any all around workout will give those results which lets face it are just the common roid-head look.

PPL (one day a week but high volume otherwise would be shortest day of week)/PP. Weekends are off days.
12oz chicken breast with air fried potatos and brussel sprouts for dinner.
Steak and eggs or chicken thigh tortilla wraps as my breakfast.
Weekends I eat whatever my friends eat, i dont restrict myself or be "that guy" who says "no i cant eat" when we go out.
Sundays I eat feet from tindr. Just girls shoving their feet in my mouth.
I only use whey as a supplement. Vanilla ice cream flavored with whole milk.

I already went through my pseudo bodybuilder phase in my 20s and now in my 30s i just workout at home doing calisthenics. I have a set of dip bars which i can do a bunch of different exercises on and also a set of resistance bands to do accesory work. I use my door to do pullups and just eat as clean as i can. I aint tryna be hyooj but at least im pretty fit

After a decade of bro splitting I just lift weights 3 days a week now. Walk and do Pilates/yoga on my rest day. Try to stretch everyday 20/40 mins. Feeling good and looking good for a mid 30s chad. Not tan since I left army but might start again, throw in a sprint session one of my non lifting days.

This. Losing weight is 100% diet. You need to burn more calories than you eat. For most people, adding exercise is enough to put them in a deficit. Calculate your caloric base line (Google it). Eat 500 calories less than that a day to lose 1lb of fat a week. Keep working out, make sure you eat at least 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight and you will maintain your muscles.

One caveat: calorie restriction won't work if you didn't drink enough water in the first place.
Navy rule is half your bodyweight (lbs) in fluid ounces every day.
I know fat guys who drink 2L (of anything) a day when they should be drinking 4-5L every day.
When you're chronically dehydrated like that, your body will look for fluid in foods. Those fat guys are so fat because they eat so much, which they only do because they don't drink enough water for their needs.
If your water is in check, then calories in-out works. Otherwise it's a dangerous game.

What are some good routines to burn calories? I've been cutting back on food and watching what I've been eating along with going on walks either at my local park or at my gym. I've lost weight but plateaued now and want to continue losing weight.

I sawdusted my shoulder in a mosh pit last month so Im working hurt rn. But my normal routine is:

I dont meal plan, I just eat everything I can cause my metabolism is stupid high. The only suppys I take is muscle milk as a pre workout. Ideal body is picrel, gonna be hard to do without roids though.

If you want to look like that you're going to need to get a proper diet plan. Steroids alone wouldn't even make you look like that. Physique is 70% your diet.

It's better to get your protein from whole sources, like chicken or turkey. Protein powder is a good way to get extra protein in your diet, especially if you don't have time to sit down for a full meal, but it is not a good substitution for a meal.

Also, it's more calories than just protein. Make sure you eat more calories than you're burning in order to get big. It's not rocket science, find what works for you and be patient.

I'm a rancher so I lug shit around, ride horses, work in the sun all day and maintain a body I am very happy with. The idea of having to go the gym or eat specific things in order to make your body appear a specific way is very odd to me. Soi mentality is the thing that needs to be fixed, not body fat. 5 days on, 2 days off. Im 5'8" and 175 pounds. Equipment: I have dumbbells, a a bar & bench with plates, a pull-up bar, resistance bands, a bike, cross country skis, and a kayak.

Days 2 and 4 are always lower body and core. Days 1, 3, and 5 are upper body workouts, with Day 5 being a longer routine made up of elements from days 1 & 3. I do yoga on the off days and bike, kayak, or ski on weekends depending on season. I work in construction and will walk around 6-8 miles a day at work, and will hike a similar amount per day on the weekends if I don't feel like dragging out the other equipment.

Supplements: I have a protein powder, a creatine powder, and 5 different extracts and vitamins I take every day.
