Kota Ibushi still hasn't made a positive comment about New Japan on twitter, even after the press conference and even after he got them to change it. And he continues making negative comments (Though not as bad as before). Damage has undeniably been done, to the point that it's actually kinda surprising they're even keeping Kota. The only thing in there I wouldn't be able to guess myself with 100% certainty is Kota Ibushi wanting to stay in Japan. But it makes sense with him having to take care of his mother. I don't know much about Ibushi's personal life.
