>>6014390I don't think he was afraid at all, necessarily. But think of it from his perspective. Nakajima is obviously a guy who grew up idolizing wrestlers and wanting to be a pro wrestler. He was a disciple of Sasaki, you know he was hugely into 90s puro, and here he's got fucking the Fifth Pillar, Jun Akiyama, bitching him out in front of everyone because he's a fucking amateur more interested in his reputation than pushing the business forward, which is what gets EVERYBODY over. There is no advantage to sandbagging and working like this when a guy isn't expecting it. Akiyama is a legend.
This is like fucking Stone Cold being in a multi-man tag match and Seth Rollins decides to go into business for himself and cheapshot Roman and KO's him in front of everyone, and Stone Cold is up in Rollins' face telling him why he's a fucking retard, an unprofessional, and how he should try that shit on him instead.
I don't think it's a fear thing as much as a humiliation thing. Imagine how Nakajima felt getting chewed out by one of his idols at a big show in front of everyone.
