Physical build isn't important in wrestling. It's all about the skill and passion that's put into every match that has been carefully laid out for the viewers enjoyment. More people remember Misawa's matches than 90% of Roman Reigns or Baron Corbin's matches in their entire run. The wrestler is called a wrestler because they can wrestle, not because they can look good. This "tubby lard of goo" is an actual legend that has improved the wrestling world more than whatever is happening now. Fans deserve the best there is, and that is wrestling.

This is unironically true, literally only gay guys care about big muscles. I showed my gf some pictures of wrestlers the other day and she said the freakishly muscular guys like Triple H, Batista or Scott Steiner look weird and unnatural. Normal people know those physiques can only be attained by taking steroids which make your dick and balls shrivel up and assume anyone who does that shit is mentally ill or gay because women aren't even attracted to those physiques. Wrestling was a whole lot more dimes when wrestlers just had normal athletic builds instead of trying to look like pumped up gay magazine models and it was less weird to normies than it is now.
