There is far more appreciation towards pro wrestling as performance art. In the west, value is determined mostly by how many other people are watching. It's about statistics over artistry so they want the lights on bright to showcase how many people are in the crowd cheering at all times. It's just a shame this philosophy is held in a country where 80+ percent of it's residents are obese
