I've wondered this as well. Tony Khan is sick of losing money in the business and all the snakes under him want to hire overpriced talent. Yet at the same time, Tony Khan is trying to court overpriced talent. The whole grassroots approach of AEW is absolutely dead. It's just going to become WCW 2.0, the only winners are the wrestlers making 5x the amount of everyone else.

They used to, but they all started watching it as some hive mind protest against WWE. Which has become only more ironic the more ex-WWE guys signed and became champ. Now they are slowly realizing that what they've championed is some 4th WWE show that is a combo of RAW and NXT. tl;dr all AEW fans are disgruntled WWE fans that wish it was WWE

I really tried to get into aew because I was a lapsed WWE fan from the 80s and 90s. But with all the NXT fags that I never watched being hired, I have no interest in it. I don't even bother watching anymore. I've never seen cm punk in WWE. Only UFC. So he does nothing for me. Kenny was meant to be the greatest in the entire world along with the bucks and all we got was comedy nonsense that was extremely cheesey and lame and shit wrestlers

I partly watch it because I hate WWE. Not Vince, however. Just what WWE has become. And I partly enjoy AEW.

On whole I'm glad to get away from all of the product. It's just shit overall, across the board. But when I'm so inclined to give my time, and money to a company I'd rather it be AEW.

I downloaded the new WWE game on torrent. Good iso. With online, wow. I didn't know any of the current talent, and I didn't want to learn. I deleted that shit.

So yes, I'm happy to sit through AEW's shit story telling, shit production, shit arenas and presentation for maybe one good match, whereas I'm no longer willing to sit through ANY WWE shit, no matter the polish, at all. Fuck em.

No, I do not, it's been going downhill since Omega died.
WWE is also unwatchable garbage, so I guess wrestling in general sucks dick. I'm sitting here praying any of the large promotions catch a clue, but I'm slowly losing hope with each passing day.
