The father of NXT’s black and gold version is also one of the most divisive WWE Superstars of all time, especially during the height of his reign of terror as the World Champion in WWE. He was accused of burying many talent and fans did not like him at all.

While speaking on his “Cafe de Rene” podcast, former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree said that Christian, Stevie Richards, Test, and Val Venis had long hair in WWE. However, he then claimed that they all had to cut their hair short as Triple H had long hair back then.

Triple H is currently more focused on fully developing talent in NXT after retiring from in-ring competition. For him, that is what matters now. He has since moved off NXT as the developmental brand became NXT 2.0.
