The immediate talk from the DDT side was that Nakajima would have to job to Endo at some point to make things right, but now Endo will miss the King of DDT tournament, noting in a statement that he has not yet been cleared by doctors (presumably for a concussion or concussion like symptoms), and as a result, he has forfeited the KO-D title, which is now vacant. >Both incidents were weaved into angles on YouTube and Twitter, but every wrestler we contacted believes the knockouts were unplanned and legitimate. We were told the planned finish of the match was Endo pinning Kotoge, with DDT splitting their two bouts against NOAH 1-1 (NOAH’s Kenoh defeated DDT’s Daisuke Sasaki later in the show). One DDT wrestler noted that the knockout itself, which everyone feels was accidental, was less of an issue than Nakajima being difficult to work with, uncooperative, and showing Endo up in the moments that preceded the knockout blow. Nakajima initially no sold strikes (in a non-working way). A confused Endo then called an Irish whip spot, but Nakajima wouldn’t budge when he tried to fire him off. A short strike exchange led to the KO blow, and the referee was forced to end the match.
