The issue is not with NJPW, the rivalry that CMLL has with AAA is what is stopping a lot of wrestlers to appear in other places.

AAA already said that they are willing to work with CMLL whenever they want, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

CMLL owns the Los Ingobernables name and takes in Young Lions to season them for NJPW. It's the oldest partnership in wrestling so I doubt NJPW will dump them for AAA.

I loved Dragon Lee from what I saw in NJPW, and Bandido from PWG and a little from NJPW and would have loved to see them in the recent bosj but can't because CMLL are being cunts

Because CMLL have over the decades been excellent to New Japan, especially as a way to season the guys that ended up becoming New Japan's top stars. There's 100% trust between the two companies and no heat whatsoever. They will never try to fuck each other over.

There's no reason to break a relationship like that up, especially so that they can have a better relationship with the utterly untrustworthy Tony, that is almost certainly on the lookout to try to get New Japan bought.

Not sure what you're referring to, but if you're complaining about me mentioning AEW and Tony, then that's obviously what this thread is about as well. OP is essentially asking for New Japan to tell their 5 decade trustworthy relationship with CMLL (Probably THE most friendly relationship between big name companies in the world right now) so that he can get a more yummerino Forbidden Door, when AEW shouldn't be trusted by New Japan too much and they were enemies just a year ago.

I don't believe you believe those are fair terms, and are instead siding with CMLL just to "own" AEW, instead of actually looking at the talent pools and realizing AAA is simply the better option in 2022
I don't care about their history or how "friendly" their partnership is btw(thought it doesn't seem to friendly to me, seems like njpw is being dictated to by a promotion that has no real leverage and getting very little in return)
And don't talk about seasoning lol the last good guy to come back from there was Hiromu 6 years ago, Wato was a complete flop

I actually genuinely believe that CMLL themselves didn't go to New Japan and go "YOU CAN'T HAVE ANDRADE IN YOUR SHOW!" and that it was New Japan being courteous and just not letting him in cause they know there's beef between him and CMLL. So it's not even CMLL pulling ultimatums so much as New Japan wanting to keep the relationship at 100% and not being willing to risk Andrade for it.

Wato looks like a dork and came back at the COVID era and he's still doing pretty good. I'm talking main eventers like Naito and Okada, not a Junior. Having CMLL as a way to help Young Lions is just objectively better for them than it is to have Andrade or Dragon Lee on a cross-promotion PPV. Sorry you can't see that. You're not looking long term enough. And especially because, again, New Japan is smart enough that they know they'll have to keep one eye open for Tony at all times, so potentially fucking up a relationship with CMLL for the sake of Tony would be ultra retarded.
