Probably less than they should be. He would bring some legitimacy to the title and they may pull the trigger to get their Punk/Tana match down the road but he can’t promo in English so he would be an absentee champion, which defeats the purpose of doing an interim champion.

Regrettably nil.
If Tony had some real balls, he'd book the interim belt going to Japan, and then have a returning Punk chasing after it.
Maybe MJF interferes and costs Moxley the win, and then he tries to independently nab the AEW belt for himself as part of bis feud with TK.

Depends on how long Punk is going to be out for. Since Dynamite will go back to being ROH-lite after Blood and Guts they'd still have time to build to Tana vs Punk at All Out. But Mox is winning.

I think they're swapping belts.
They gave the title to Jay specifically to transition it to an AEW star because they didn't want Okada taking the pin. Exactly like how Jay was a transitional champion just to put the belt on Okada without doing Okada vs Tanahashi for the hundredth time.
Tana will win the AEW belt and probably represent it in the G1.

Both titles will probably come back to their companies at All Out
Punk beats Tana in chicago and Okada beats whoever has the IWGP hebbyq

AFAIK both guys are at the G1 so no. Also the G1 will be much interesting with Jay as the monster heel champion and so many BC lackeys on each block.

Tanahashi could "steal" the belt and take it back to Japan. It could be defended at PPVs but how many of those are there until Punk returns? Maybe 1 more after Forbidden Door? This is assuming Tony wants Tanahashi to play heel though and have Punk return as face.

I won't say zero but still a super low chance. Tana's going to be in the G1 so it'd kill the point of an interim champion if Tana's gone for a month. Plus Mox was supposed to go heel against Hangman so Tony may be planning to just revive that plot but with CM Punk
