Truth was kinda cool as NWA-TNA champ. Good on the mic and his brand of flippy shit was something that was actually entertaining.
But yeah he got buried by Double J much like most contenders back then and went from legit main eventer to literal who in a matter of months

In the ring he was more aggressive, had a cool, memorable moveset, could hang with the heavyweights and the x-division. Solid performer. I like his comedy wwe gimmick but there's always a slight disappointment knowing what he's capable of. He's getting on in age now though.
