I have no issue with Cassidy, but I feel like Ospreay could tear the house down with someone like Pac or Penta. I'd be more interested in Cassidy vs Yano or Kanemaru. Someone who proven they can do the comedy style well.

That and it was questionable if AEW was going to stand the test of time. New Japan has seen a lot of flash in the pans, getting into bed with an upstart that hasn't proven it's staying power is just a bad idea. I think Tony Khan buying ROH was really what won NJPW over. NJPW really valued their ROH partnership and probably views their new AEW partnership as just an evolution of that.
