>>6102281I don't care about your weird opinion. Chuck is a really good worker, he just annoys Corny cos he looks out of shape. His issue with Trent is that he's not an established guy so if you bring in a top guy and have them be competitive with a guy that you job out all the time then they look weaker as a result. Same reason having Takeshita lose to Lethal was bizarre.
Will should have come in and debuted against an upper midcard guy and smashed them so he's a valuable asset later when they use him to put over a top star. Tony doesn't know what he's doing.
>>6102282Meltzer doesn't even really watch what he rates, so it's weird to take him seriously. He makes weird and incorrect statements about all the promotions and wrestlers he pretended to watch too; Asuka was the face of Stardom, Toni Storm had incredible matches in Stardom, Takeshita was in a tag team with Mike Bailey. The only people who believe him are people who don't actually watch anything.
Dave actually pretends to watch Dragon Gate, where Shingo had an incredible run and was undoundtedly the best wrestler in the world at that time. Meltzer never mentioned it once but gave Okada and Omega 7 stars etc during that timeframe. Shingo, the best guy in a company he pretends to watch, then goes to New Japan and Dave doesn't even pretend to know who he is or how good he has been until he wrestles Ospreay.
