As the title says, I really want Tanahashi to win the interim belt. I love Moxley, but Tanahashi winning adds so much intrigue in my opinion. 1) He’s a legend, so it doesn’t diminish the belt in any way. 2) it sets up several unique title defenses along the way until CM Punk faces him for a unification match down the road. 3) the title could be defended in Japan while waiting for CM Punk to return. 4) it sets the standard that “anything” can happen at these cross-promotional shows.
