Cole was in NXT, which nobody watches. His girlfriend mogs him in AEW. He's pathetic. Everyone yells "bay-bay" and then puts their nose in their phone during his matches.

Feel like him losing all his feuds and then we're expected to buy him as the top guy again affects him badly.
Feel debuting him as a disappointing guy who immediately swerved the audience and turned heel seconds after appearing and then got overshadowed by Danielson a whopping 70 seconds after that badly affected him.

Feel like people were trying to figure out why they are supposed to buy into him regardless of him losing every feud, being a midcard, cowradly heel he won't leave the main event scene despite losing repeatedly and then dragging potential top guys down to his level too iand that badly affects him.

Feel like he doesn't even look good to begin with and has nothing else going for him either and people are wondering why this guy is being shoved down their throats ahead of other guys who get no time at all.

He was talked out of taking time off and never recovered. He needed that 3 months and TK stole it for a cheap pop. We all knew he was coming but we didn't think it'd be before Bryan Danielson and it lead to the biggest pop he'll ever get.
