Coz ROH already did NJPW cross over stuff, and ROH was a better version of AEW which AEW ironically killed and has tried to resurrect and done nothing with since. Now AEW has gone from a bad version of WCW to a bad version of NXT and ROH.

Because Japanese wrestling isn't a thing in America and never will be. Every thread you see that revolves around Japanese wrestling or Joshi are the same 20 faggots circle jerking over and over and over again. Real people don't even know NJPW exists. There are more chances that a normal person will recognize AEW than he will recognize any Japanese promotion. The only reason Tony is doing this is because he wanna earn more points with his fanbase and the journos who can't stop sucking cock to Japan. Tony is the kind of guy who would rather brag about having an observer 5 star match than having a big rating.

You need to do more to establish the NJPW wrestlers to the AEW audience. Having them randomly show up one week to interfere in a match or whatever and telling the audience who they are doesn't do that. They need to get over by consistently impressing the audience with their performances.
Look at Ospreay, the crowd knew who he was but didn't know a ton about him. He's had a few matches and he's starting to get a bit over because the crowd sees that he's great. You can see the same thing happening with Takeshita (I know he's not from NJPW).
