Yeah. I was a Cena hater from around the time they started giving him the Superman push, pretty much indefinitely after that. Even later in his career when he was more experienced and when he was doing the US title open invitation angle I was still a hater. Then I stopped watching WWE not that long afterwards. He was never great in the ring but he was good on the mic and had a lot of charisma. It was the way he was presented that soured him on me. The spinner belt was fucking ugly too.

I don't think it's possible to've not hated him at least for a while. He could be legit unbearable.

But even at his worst, he wasn't the real problem. That was VKM, and his constant kneecapping of anyone else who dared get over when they weren't supposed to.

Yeah, through his reign of terror I got pretty tired of him being the champion because he wasn't a good wrestler and cut the same promo every week. I ended up only watching Smackdown for a year or so. Freed up a lot more time for myself.
