At first, the guy thought they were just trolling him. But then he realized that they were serious. They were actually telling him to kill himself.
So he did.
He went into his garage, started up his car, and put a hose from the exhaust pipe into the car. He sat in the car and breathed in the fumes until he died.
When the police found his body, they were puzzled. They didn't understand why he would kill himself. But then they found the 4chan thread and it all made sense.
