>>6131545It's meaningless now because everyone from the top of the card to the very bottom kicks out of high impact moves and finishers regularly, and won't show any lingering affects either. But back in the day, believable selling was prioritized so only certain guys booked as monsters could shrug off damage or even no sell it entirely. And when a guy is huge like Undertaker or Hogan, it's still believable, at least if you're caught up in the moment.
It literally looks like stupid larping when it's done now though.
