>>6134223Much as I dislike Hogan, Triple H. Though he had the lengthier career and was arguably the best wrestler of the three (though Austin was legitimately a great technician who could go toe to toe with Angle and Benoit), and though he was a legit draw, he was never a draw on the level of which he was protected, and though his best natches are as good as the best matches anybody in WWE's had, he put on a lot of stinkers over the years.
Hogan, though he easily had the stinkiest stinkers of the three, and the fewest top level matches, just drew so much mobey over so long a period of time, it's impossible to say he was overrated. And he did have matches that are still worth seeing, and connected with the crowd with an intensity and consistency that only Austin has since matched. And Hogan didn't just do that in a territory. He did it everywhere he went. It took decades of him embarrassing himself and a truly overwhelming ego even by prograps standards to finally leave a permanent mark against him. But he was never overrated as a wrestler, especially because even in his prime, nobody ever rated him highly as a technician.
